Things I have (and don’t have)

Standard

It is no secret that I like ceramics, both making (ceramic dinosaurs…) and getting things I haven’t made myself. As most of my ceramics are currently (ahem…) in the process of being cleaned, I thought that rather than being boring and washing them, I’d take some photos of some nice-looking things I have found since I came here.

A brown cup bought at a “medieval crafts” store in Borlänge next to a blue bowl bought here in town. I got some other cups in Sweden this year as well, but they seem to have either been left behind or still be with Heidi; I don’t know which. She also seems reluctant to give me my posters, but oh well… I’ll probably get new posters to replace them with because of a secret that will take place pretty soon.

Three bowls bought here in town from the same place (West Elm).

Three adorable cups with Australian birds bought in Jönköping at the food festival there this year. The species are:

Eastern Spinebill Acanthorhynchus tenuirostris

Scarlet Honeyeater Myzomela sanguinolenta

Laughing Kookaburra Dacelo novaeguineae

Two pots I got at Majorna Megaloppis this year. I like the green one (which I bought), but don’t know what to do with the blue one (dumpstered), which I find hideous. Any suggestions?

Plastic, but still: it’s a Ceratosaurus-shaped drinking cup!
