I started a birdwatching competition against my friend Björn, to see who could see the most species across the world this year. I though I was doing fine when I reached 12 the first day, but since then, there’s been very few new species. He and Jenny participated in the annual birdwatching rally this year, and Björn is apparently at 58 when I heard last, while the only species I’ve added was Raven Corvus corax. So I thought I’d be able to catch up at least a little bit this weekend, but…

I hate the winter.

On the plus side, the biology course at the Free Skool starts this weekend, so there’s something to do indoors, at least. As long as I don’t blow away on my way to Matt’s…
