Tar en massa bilder på insekter och spindlar och grejer hela tiden, men har sällan tid/möjlighet att identifiera dem. Här är några snygga saker jag hittat den senaste tiden där jag kunnat identifiera dem någotsånär i alla fall. Allihop är från Salt Lake City, Utah.

Ugly dinosaurs

I was in Colorado with Debb this weekend, traveling along the Dinosaur Diamond through Vernal, Dinosaur, Grand Junction, Fruita, and Price. We saw lots of great dinosaur stuff, including the magnificent Dinosaur National Monument, but also LOTS of ugly, horrible dinosaurs. As these are generally more fun, here are some samples:

Things I have (and don’t have)

It is no secret that I like ceramics, both making (ceramic dinosaurs…) and getting things I haven’t made myself. As most of my ceramics are currently (ahem…) in the process of being cleaned, I thought that rather than being boring and washing them, I’d take some photos of some nice-looking things I have found since I came here.

The fossil of today comes to use from the National Museum of Science and Nature, located in Ueno Park in central Tokyo:
